A Closer Look...

At Mt. Pulaski our unique processing provides the most accurately sized grit in the industry. We process corncobs into grit, flour, and beeswing products utilizing every portion of the corncob. We pride ourselves on strict management of the production mix so that we are able to meet our customers’ various needs.

The most absorbent parts of the corncob are the pith, the chaff and the beeswing. The hardest part of the corncob, useful for abrasive applications, is the woody ring.
